Day 1
Arrival in Yerevan & City Tour
Arrival at Zvartnots International Airport in Yerevan. Meet and greet by Best Tour representative. Transfer to the hotel.Afterward, start the city tour and walk through the Cascade Complex. It is a giant stairway made of limestone, which houses one of the most interesting and vast contemporary art collections. Head to the building of the Opera House and Northern Avenue. After that, continue to Republic Square in the heart of Yerevan. Then head to the Blue Mosque, dating back to the 18th century. Then visit Matenadaran, one of the world’s largest and oldest repositories of Armenian, Greek, and Persian manuscripts. Marvel at the illuminated pages of some of these manuscripts displayed within their glass cases. Then head to the Blue Mosque, dating back to the 18th century. Later, return to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Yerevan
Day 2
Garni Temple, Symphony of Stones & Lake Sevan Excursion
After breakfast at the hotel, start the tour. The first stop is near the Arch of Charents, from where a beautiful panoramic view opens up. Later, head to Garni Fortress, which dates back to the 3rd century BC, and visit its jewel, the pagan Temple of Garni, which dates back to the 1st century AD. Afterward, visit the Symphony of Stones – a natural sightseeing attraction in Garni Village. It is said that this natural monument is the result of the collapse of volcanic rocks. Continue the drive to Lake Sevan, also referred to as the Pearl of Armenia. Situated at 1,900 meters above sea level and covering 1,240 sq. km, the vast expanse of Sevana Lich (Lake Sevan) is the largest lake in the Caucasus and one of the largest high-altitude freshwater lakes in the world. Return to Yerevan. Overnight at the hotel in Yerevan.
Day 3
Khor Virap Monastery & Areni Winery Tour
After breakfast at the hotel, start the tour to Khor Virap. The Khor Virap Monastery stands before the snow-capped flanks of Mount Ararat, offering a spectacular view of the mountain, the national symbol of Armenia. It is where Grigor Lusavorich (St. Gregory the Illuminator) was imprisoned for 13 years before curing King Trdat III of a disease, which led to the baptism of Armenia into Christianity in 301 AD. It is from here that some of the most gorgeous and picturesque views of the snow-white Mount Ararat, green fields, and mountains on the horizon can be seen. Then head to Areni Winery to taste different kinds of wine. It is among the oldest and most well-established wine facilities in the area. Return to Yerevan. Overnight at the hotel in Yerevan.
Day 4
Transfer to the airport
Breakfast at the hotel. Check out from the hotel. Transfer to the airport. Departure.
