MTSKHETA -JVARI - TBILISI CITY TOUR

- Our journey continues to the ancient city of Mtskheta, a must-visit destination in Georgia. This historic city is known as the “Second Jerusalem”. One of the most revered saints in Georgia, St. Nino, who brought Christianity to the country, lived under the blackberry bush in Samtavro Monastery in Mtskheta and placed the first cross on Mount Jvari, made of vine and intertwined with her own hair.
- We will visit two of the greatest shrines of the Christian world: Jvari Monastery and Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, where the Heaton of the Lord is preserved.
- Continue to Tbilisi City Tour. Start with the world’s largest Orthodox church, the Holy Trinity Cathedral. Proceed to Metekhi Church and the monument of King Vakhtang Gorgasali, the legendary founder of Tbilisi. Walk down to the Abanotubani district, famous for its sulfur bathhouses, passing by the only mosque in Tbilisi.
- Stroll through the Sharden area, filled with narrow streets, cozy cafés, wine tasting bars, and souvenir shops, offering a glimpse into the city’s living history.
- Visit Sioni Cathedral, Anchiskhati Basilica, and the iconic clock tower of the famous Rezo Gabriadze Theatre. Cross the Bridge of Peace to Rike Park, where we will take a cable car ride to Narikala Fortress. It is the perfect place to feel excitement, relaxation, and unforgettable emotions while enjoying panoramic views of the city.

Day 3
ANANURI –GUDAURI-KAZBEGI

- Zinvali Water Reservoir & Ananuri Complex – situated on the foreland by the Aragvi River, not far from Zhinvali water reservoir and about 70 km from Tbilisi, Georgia. It was built by the Dukes of Aragvi and its earliest parts date from the 13th century. The fortress is on the UNESCO Tentative list. The fortress consists of two fortifications joined by a crenellated curtain wall.
Gudauri Friendship Monument &Resort – is a small touristic settlement and ski mountain resort located at the altitude of 3,000m on the southern slopes of the Lesser Caucasus range of Georgia. Gudauri is situated 120 km from Tbilisi. You can reach it by the Georgian Military Road for about 2 hours by car. Once many well-known writers and poets such as: Alexander Griboedov, Alexander Pushkin, Mikhail Lermontov. - Kazbegi& Gergeti Trinity Church (Tsminda Sameba) is one of Georgia’s most iconic landmarks, nestled high in the Caucasus Mountains. It sits at an elevation of 2,170 meters (7,120 feet) above sea level, near the town of Stepantsminda (formerly Kazbegi), in the Mtskheta-Mtianeti region of Georgia. it requires navigating a rugged mountain trail that can be challenging, especially during bad weather or in winter months. This is where off-road vehicles like the Mitsubishi Delica 4X4
